History

How It All Began

SupremeMetal’s proud history began in 1929, during the later years of Prohibition and the beginning of the Great Depression. Brothers Sam and Morris Schwartz established Supreme Metal Cooler Works in Brooklyn, N.Y. to produce stainless steel bar equipment for the restaurant industry.

Despite its beginnings during challenging times, the company endured. The legacy of quality and innovative manufacturing built by Sam and Morris has continued through three generations of the Schwartz family.

Growth and New Products

Over the years, Supreme grew and added new products to better serve the bar and restaurant industry. The need for larger manufacturing facilities took the company from Brooklyn to Long Island to Georgia. Its product line expanded to include sinks, ice chests, hot food tables and accessories, modular bar dies, vinyl-clad and sealed-well units for hot food tables, food steamers and refrigerated drop-ins. With its diversified product portfolio, Supreme has been able to offer the highest-quality solution at every price point.

Quality and Service Strengthen the Brand

SupremeMetal is known for its quality and service. Its products are reliable and durable. Dedicated to its customers, Supreme continues to expand its product lines with innovative designs to meet their needs beyond their expectations.

The Schwartz family maintains their longstanding commitment to the company and the industry. Today, the third generation of Schwartz family members is leading SupremeMetal with the same commitment, vision and principles that Sam and Morris demonstrated when they started the company in 1929.
